When you are answering the Privacy Policy questionnaire, you will be asked how long you store the information that is provided to you through your website. This particular disclosure is required by Article 13(2)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018, and Australia Privacy Act 1988. These laws require you to disclose, in your Privacy Policy, the period for which you store personal information, or if that is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period. Please note that these laws require website operators to set data retention periods and does not allow for the indefinite storage of personal information.

You have two choices when answering this question:

  1. Choose a definitive period for the storage of information (e.g. 1 year); or
  2. Choose to input how the storage period will be determined by choosing "until something happens". You will then be able to input your criteria for determining the storage period (e.g. until we have processed your order).

Whichever option you choose, you must ensure that you keep the personal information no longer than what is stated in your Privacy Policy.
