When you are answering the Privacy Policy questionnaire, you will be asked what number of "requests to know" you have received. This disclosure is required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for companies that sell large amounts of personal information of California consumers.

A request to know is a request by a consumer that you disclose:

  • The categories of personal information that you collect;
  • The specific pieces of personal information that you hold about the consumer;
  • The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected;
  • The business or commercial purpose(s) for which you use the personal information; and
  • The categories of third parties with whom you share personal information.

Once you determine how many requests to know you have received, simply input the number in the field provided. If you have received more than zero requests to know, you will also be asked to provide information as to how many of these requests you have complied with and how many of them you have denied.
