When you are answering the Privacy Policy questionnaire, you will be asked whether you subscribe to any Australian Privacy Codes. This disclosure is required by the Australia Privacy Act 1988. Australian Privacy Codes are enforceable codes that entities may actively subscribe to that provide transparency and other obligations in addition to the Australia Privacy Act 1988. The following is a list of the Australian Privacy Codes:
- Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014;
- Privacy (Australian Government Agencies - Governance) APP Code 2017;
- Privacy (Market and Social Research) Code 2021.
