When you are answering the Terms of Service questionnaire, you will be asked when you can cancel a customer's purchase. A cancellation by you can take place if you cannot perform the service that the customer purchased (e.g. you are ill), you cannot provide the goods that the customer purchased (e.g. you run out of the materials used to make the goods), or you cannot provide the digital products that the customer purchased (e.g. a third party software issue causes a bug where a course cannot be downloaded). Please note that this question applies to cases in which you cancel the customer's purchase on your own volition, not when a customer requests you to cancel their purchase.
. To answer this question, please select one or more of the following options:
- Prior to shipment: you can cancel the customer's purchase prior to shipping the goods;
- Prior to download: you can cancel the customer's purchase prior to the customer downloading the digital product that they purchased;
- Prior to performance of the service: you can cancel the customer's purchase prior to you performing the service that they purchased;
- Other: select this option if the above options do not fit your business. If you select this option, you will be able to enter in your text for when you can cancel the customer's purchase in the field provided.
