When you are answering the Terms of Service questionnaire, you will be asked if the customer will receive a full refund or a partial refund if they cancel the customer's purchase? A refund is repayment to a customer of the money that they paid you for your goods, services, or digital products. Please note that this question applies to situations in which you cancel the customer's purchase in your own volition (e.g. you run out of the materials used to make the goods or you cannot perform the service if you are ill) and not if the customer requests a refund themselves.
You should select "full refund" if you are going to return all of the money that the customer paid you for the goods, services, or digital products that you cancelled. You should select "partial refund" if you will return only a part of the money that the customer paid you for the goods, services, or digital products. A partial refund situation could arise if you deduct taxes, shipping costs, or similar fees from the payment, or if you charge a restocking fee that is deducted from the payment upon a refund being issued.
