When you are answering the Terms of Service questionnaire, you will be asked to select the reasons that will qualify the buyer for a refund. You are being asked this question because you selected that the buyer will need a reason to qualify for a refund and that refunds are not issued if the buyer does not have a reason for requesting a refund. To answer this question, please select the reason(s) from the following list of options: 

  • The good, digital product or service failed to meet the warranties: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if the good, digital product or service that they purchased from you failed to meet the warranties that you offer for this product. For example, if you sell flowers and warrant that the flowers will not wilt within 5 days of delivery and the flowers wilted within 1 day of delivery;
  • With receipt: select this option if the buyer will need to have their receipt to qualify for a refund;
  • Didn't like it: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if they did not like the good, service, or digital product that they purchased from you; 
  • Wrong size: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if they were shipped or provided with an item that was the wrong size from what they originally ordered (e.g. buyer purchased a medium-sized shirt and received an extra large sized shirt); 
  • Wrong color: select this potion if the buyer will qualify for a refund if they were shipped or provided with an item that was the wrong color from what they originally ordered (e.g. buyer purchased a green toaster and received an orange one);
  • Wrong description: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if they were shipped or provided with an item that is described differently on your website or application (e.g. buyer purchased a short sleeve shirt and received a long sleeve shirt); 
  • Unable to download: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if they were unable to download the digital products that the buyer purchased; 
  • Incompatible with third party software or hardware: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if the digital products they purchased are incompatible with third party software or hardware (e.g. they attempted to download a course book but were unable to open it using Microsoft Word); 
  • The wrong product or service was provided: select this option if the buyer will qualify for a refund if the wrong product or service was provided (e.g. the buyer purchased a course but received a music video or the buyer purchased a car wash service but their car was painted instead); 
  • Other: select this option if the above options do not apply to you. Please note that if you select this option, you will be able to input your reasons for a refund into an empty field provided.
