Upon generating your cookie consent solution, you will be provided a cookie consent solution embed code on the View Embed Code page. This is the code that will need to be copied and inserted into your Wix website, by following the steps below:
1. Sign in to your WIX account
2. Go to “Website” and then “Settings” and then under “Advanced” continue to “Custom Code”.
3.Under the “Head” section of “Custom Code” click “Add Code”.
4. Enter your usercentrics Script-Tag under the “Code Snippet” section. Under “Add Code to Pages” select “All Pages” and the sub-selection “Load Code Once”.
5. Under “what’s the purpose of this code” select “Essential”.
6. When finished, select “Apply”. You will then be taken back to the “Custom Code” page where you can confirm your Script-Tag is added to the “Head” section.
7. Be sure to first watch the general step-by-step video guide on how to properly install, test and troubleshoot the consent solution. Be sure to test the website (in a fresh incognito window) to confirm everything is working (and submit test form submissions through any contact form(s) if you're using security features like reCaptcha).
