If you are experiencing issues with the "Edit Visual Builder" section of your Divi website, you may come across an issue where you're being blocked from editing the website.  We are actively looking to fix this issue, but in the meantime, the steps below should solve the issue for you:

If you are receiving this message:

The message will say:
"We need your consent to load the Facebook Page service!"

"We use Facebook Page to embed content that may collect data about your activity. Please review the details and accept the service to see this content."

To resolve this issue, there are three options:

Option #1 (POPULAR): Download and activate the (new) Termageddon / Usercentrics plugin

1. Download the plugin by clicking here.

2. Upload and activate the plugin within your WordPress website

3. Visit "Tools" -> "Termageddon + Usercentrics"

4. Copy/paste the Usercentrics consent tool embed code (located on the "View embed code" page of your "Cookie Policy and Consent Tool" of your Termageddon account)

5. Within the plugin, click the 'Settings' tab, and then select the toggle for "Administrators" (thus hiding the consent tool for logged in admins) and click 'save'.

6. If you haven't already, be sure to remove the Usercentrics script from any other location where you previously pasted it into your website. If you are using Divi, this is probably located under "Divi -> Theme Options -> Integration".

Now, as an admin when clicking "Edit Visual Builder", it will work.

Option #2:Use a JavaScript blocker

Download a Javascript Blocker extension for your browser. This will ensure that the page and editor is loading correctly.

For Chrome, we recommend adding the "Sybu Javascript Blocker" extension and then following these steps:

1. Visit the website

2. Click the Sybu icon at the top of your browser and click "My Rules". Your webpage should refresh.

If you are still seeing the error, this may be due to caching. Click the dropdown below "My Rules" and click "No Cache Reload". The page will reload and fix the issue.

3. Now you should be able to edit any of your Divi websites with this setting in place. You can always turn Sybu off and only turn it back on when needed (You can also right click the Sybu icon -> click "Manage Extension" and edit the "Site access" section to select your default settings on how you'd like to Sybu to work.

Option #3: Check to see if you have a caching tool that is minifying JavaScript files (Such as WP Rocket)

If your Divi website is breaking after adding the Usercentrics cookie consent code, check to see if you have WP Rocket (or another site optimization tool) listed as an active plugin.

If yes, go to your WP Rocket settings, click "File Optimization" on the left.

If you have "Minify JavaScript Files" enabled, then add to "Exclude JavaScript Files" the following code:

app.usercentrics.eu/browser-ui/latest/loader.js
privacy-proxy.usercentrics.eu/latest/uc-block.bundle.js

Save changes, then clear cache (with WP Rocket), and then visit the website in incognito to verify everything is working.
