When you start creating your Privacy Policy, the first set of questions will be used to determine what privacy laws apply to you, and thus what disclosures your Privacy Policy needs to contain. Some U.S. privacy laws apply to larger businesses only and specifically exempt "small businesses" as defined the United States Small Business Administration. Please note that the following information applies regardless of whether your business and/or you are located within the United States or elsewhere.

If you have less than $2.25 million per year in revenue and less than 100 employees, you will generally be considered a small business by the U.S. Small Business Administration and should select "yes" to this question.

If you exceed the thresholds above, please view the revenue amounts and number of employees standards for small businesses here. You can find your NAICS number here.  Please note that if you exceed the revenue and/or employee thresholds listed in the link above based on your industry, then you may be considered a large business by the SBA and may need to select "no" to this question.
