On the 'view embed code' page, you will see an 'Advanced' button for each policy.  Within the Advanced section, there are several options we provide to help implement the policy embed codes into your website.

Several of these features are for styling purposes, such as using accordions instead of tables to improve mobile friendliness.  Or hiding titles (for when your page already includes a title by default for example).

Two of these features with some more unique characteristics are also available, Compatibility Mode and CSS Compatibility. This article intends to shed more light on these particular features:

Compatibility Mode:

When embedding Termageddon's default embed codes, some times the policies will not render on the page.  When you visit the page (in a fresh incognito window), it may say something like "Please wait while the policies load..." for example, but the loading never happens.

For situations like this, enabling Compatibility Mode may help resolve the issue.  Simply enable Compatibility Mode, copy the new embed code, and paste it into the body of your policy page (replacing the original embed code that you pasted into the body).

Then revisit the page in a fresh incognito window and the policy should now render.

Compatibility Mode is not a required feature, rather it as an alternative embed code that we provide to help load policies on websites that are having difficulty loading our default embed codes.

CSS Compatitibility:

By default Termageddon provides a CSS class called policy to help customers style their policy pages (more info here on how to style the policies with CSS).

Some websites (or premade website themes or web builders) may already be using policy as a css class, which can cause issues with styling the Termageddon specific policies. Therefore, you can enable CSS Compatibility, which changes the policy class over policy_embed_div.  Now you can style your policies with the policy_embed_div class.

This is not a required feature, rather it provides an alternative CSS in case the default policy class is not helping style the policies.
