Unlike the policy embed codes, the cookie consent solution embed code must be pasted into the the header section of your website and before any other 3rd party scripts that you may be using (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel).
To add the cookie consent solution script to a Squarespace website:
1. Login to Squarespace and click "Settings" on the home page
2. Scroll down and selected "Advanced" (or "Developer Tools")
3. Next, select "Code Injection"
- In the Header area, insert the cookie consent solution script, which is available your Termageddon license, within the Embed Codes page. Paste this code at the top of the <head> of your website, ensuring it can control all other third party scripts that loads below it.
- Click save within your Squarespace editor.
4. In a fresh incognito window, visit your website, and verify that the banner is properly displaying
