Termageddon is now compatible for businesses formed in Australian

Termageddon has officially launched compatibility with Australian businesses, and for this reason, now covers the Australian Privacy Act of 1988 disclosures required for certain businesses.

Why is this an Optional Upgrade

Your respective license is identified as being a business formed outside of Australia, meaning you now have the ability to add Australian Privacy Act disclosures to your Privacy Policy if applicable to your business.

Should you make Australia Privacy Act disclosures?

The Privacy Policy questionnaire will ask two additional questions to help you identify if you need to make Australia Privacy Act disclosures (more information available on this blog post):

1. Do you collect the personal information of Australians or residents of any of the Australian external territories?

2. Do you do business in Australia or in any of the Australian external territories?

If you answered "no" to either one of these questions, you can ignore this Optional Upgrade. If you answered 'yes' to both of these questions, then you will want to update your Privacy Policy questionnaire with Australia Privacy Act disclosures.

Steps to update your Privacy Policy questionnaire:

1. Log into your account: https://app.termageddon.com

2. Click the respective license that has "Australia Privacy Act" listed as an Optional Upgrade.

3. Click 'Edit policy details' within the "Privacy Policy" box.

4. On page 1, you will see additional Australia-based questions near the bottom of the page.

5. Answer these questions accordingly, and click 'next'.

6. Review the remaining pages and answer any new questions if applicable, clicking 'next' on each page.

7. On the final page, after all questions are answered, click 'submit'.

That's it! If you answered 'yes' to the Australia-related questions on page one of the questionnaire, you now will have the disclosures added to your Privacy Policy and the update will be automatically added to your website's Privacy Policy page.
