Unlike the policy embed codes, the cookie consent solution embed code must be pasted into the the header section of your website and before any other 3rd party scripts that you may be using (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel).
To add the cookie consent solution script to a Squarespace website:
1. Login to Squarespace and click "Settings" on the home page
2. Scroll down and selected "Advanced" (or "Developer Tools")
3. Next, select "Code Injection"
- In the Header area, insert the cookie consent solution script, which is available your Termageddon license, within the "View embed code" page of the "Cookie Policy and consent solution". You will want to make sure all other embed codes are listed below the cookie consent solution.
- Click save.
4. Open up your website and verify that the banner is displaying
If the banner is not displaying, verify you listed the domain (live and/or staging) within the cookie questionnaire, under "Domain Settings". If not, add the domain (and/or subdomain), resubmit the questionnaire, and try again.
