Who owns the website or application?

To answer this question, you should choose “company” if you have legally formed a company (such as a Corporation or a Limited Liability Company”) and that company is listed as the owner of your website or application in any documents such as in the WhoIs Directory. To access the WhoIs Directory and see who the owner of your website or application is, please visit this link

On the other hand, if you have not formed a company, do business under your own name or your website is owned by you as an individual, you should select “person” in your answer to this question. For example, the website deepspacehans.com is a personal recipe website owned by an individual - Hans Skillrud. Thus, when selecting who owns the website, Hans would select “person” since he owns and operates the website under his own name.
