Where was the company formed?

To answer this question, please first select the country and then the state, province or territory with which you filed the legal paperwork to start your company (e.g. if you submitted paperwork to create a Corporation to Illinois, United States, you would select “United States” and then “Illinois”). 

If you formed your company originally in one country and state, province or territory and then filed paperwork to apply to do business in another country or state, province or territory as a “foreign” company, please select the country and state, province or territory where you originally formed your company. In addition, if you initially formed your company in one country, state, province or territory and then formed the company again in another country, state, province or territory, please select the country, state, province or territory where the filing is active (e.g. if I form a company in Illinois and then form it again in Michigan, the Illinois filing will usually be considered as expired or withdrawn).
