After you activate and generate your Cookie Policy and cookie consent solution, you will need to add the newly generated embed codes to your website.
Cookie Policy:
Adding the Cookie Policy embed code is just like all other policies that Termageddon provides. Create a Cookie Policy page, insert the embed code into the body of the page (often done with an 'html' or 'embed code' block) and publish the page. Be sure to offer a hyperlink to your Cookie Policy within the footer of your website.
Cookie consent solution (powered by Usercentrics):
The cookie consent solution, however, is an embed code that will need to be inserted into the <head> section of your website. Be sure to place the consent script as high up in the <head> as possible to ensure the cookie consent solution can manage all other scripts that load before it. If you have a web developer or agency you work with, we recommend you ask them for a quote to add this feature to ensure it is properly added to your website.
Custom script control - You can also add control of third party scripts by inserting the following into the third party scripts:
type="text/plain" data-usercentrics="XXX"
Replace "XXX" with the respective service, such as "Google Analytics".
